The RMAs mission statement is simple, but represents the heart and soul of the organization's efforts: to positively impact and encourage the lives of musicians, Industry members, and our society at large to produce music that will be globally accepted; improving the quality of OPM music for global standard and for export.
 

In furtherance of our purpose, DYNAMEDIA and TRPI has created and presents the annual Philippine Radio Music Awards ceremony, with the purpose of (1) developing global standard artists that are accepted worldwide, (2) using the RMAs as another form of industry that helps improve our economy, and (3) encourage and promote the advancement of musicians and others in the country by recognizing their musical achievements as well as the achievements of outstanding music production and its producers.
